How to get to Ames
Starting Left to Right or West to East ​

The First way to get to Ames is to use Highway 3o. You just follow the highway signs and there are different ones to go to the different sides of town. There are always different places to explore but the way that is shown above, is to the Historic Main Street of Ames. You will find places to eat, shop, and just hang out!

With the second way, it would be much faster if you are at the Adix Country Inn & Venue. It may seem like a bunch of twists and turns but trust me, it's better than dealing with all the traffic. This way also leads you to the Historic Main Street of Ames as well. On your way there, since Ames is a campus town and depending on which way you take, you'll see other places to stop and eat, shop, and have a ball!
These places are just a sneak peek of Mainstreet and all it has to offer. It is definitely a full-day adventure to check out the shops and places that are on the historic street. The adventure is worth it though and offers something for everyone whether it be for the ones who want to go shop or for the partiers who want to go to the bars later on.
