THE ADIX

In the mid 1850's, our family was deeded the land we know as

The Adix Country Inn & Venue from the President. The house that was built on the farm was purchased from a Sears catalog in the late 1890's for only $1,500.00.

The above photo shows our family members Larry, Norman, and Karen Adix on the left

and our beloved Eden Mariah on the right. Since Eden's grand entrance to heaven in June 2022,

 our family has been fueled to transform this 5-bedroom home into the dream she had.

Since then, we have been doing our best to bring her dreams to life but equally honor our family members that were born and raised on the farm. This is the origin of our business moto:

"Their legacy and her dream".

It is a slice of heaven for others to make it their home away from home

and a place for people to create lasting lifelong memories.  

 

Through the hard work of our immediate family, the home was remodeled to what it is today.

It is not just a piece of land in Iowa or just a house on a hill to us.

As it is our goal for each and every person who walks through the doors

to find peace and serenity.
